Hire me for professional training.
Empowering your organisation with creative story presentations that engage children and their families.
Embracing my unique skill sets as an educator, writer and storyteller, I support teachers, librarians, artists and community workers to use stories in low-prep, high-engagement programs that tick off multiple goals.
My job is to help you enrich your programs and deliver greater engagement and value for children and the community. I know that with stories, we enhance children's development, learning and motivation.

My training style
My clients love how interactive, hands-on and relevant our sessions are. Whether it be in education, creative or community spaces, I tailor my sessions to meet you where you’re at and walk with you to your goals because I believe we draw from our unique experiences. My expertise in reading and language development as well as my performance/stage skills inform a big part of my practice.
Because we are working with children in creative spaces, I’m big on tapping into our inner child and tuning into a child’s world and seeing what matters to them, so we can provide a meaningful and engaging experience.
I offer a unique balance of creativity and structure that lets you expand ideas and put them in effective and sustainable practices with samples, resources, tools and templates which are versatile for continued use.
At the end of the session, you feel empowered, inspired and enabled to use stories to make the impact you wish to have on the community you deeply care about.
“We learned so much from our storytelling workshop led by the amazing Anna Manuel. Thank you so much Anna, for inspiring us and giving us new and effective teaching strategies and ideas to help us look at and teach the way we tell stories. We can’t wait to use them in class!”

“Anna has moved mountains with her storytelling prowess. Wherever she is, be it in Bangkok, Manila, or Melbourne, there would be stories children look forward to! Not only that, she has touched families' lives through her parent-teacher training on making their children lifelong readers who grow up to be brilliant and compassionate people.”
